Shelby P. LaSalle, Jr.

Shelby LaSalleShelby P. LaSalle, Jr. is a Senior Managing Partner of New Orleans Equity Partners. He previously held the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Krebs, LaSalle, LeMieux Consultants, Inc., where he was associated with every phase of the organization since 1965.

As Chief Executive Officer, Mr. LaSalle was responsible for the integration of staff and technology to satisfy the client and project needs. Other responsibilities included environmental documentation and permitting, land planning, engineering design, project management, contract and business administration and business development. The company’s projects included transportation and community planning inclusive of land use, local roadways and highways; waste water collection and treatment facilities; water distribution and fire protection systems and potable water supplies; storm sewers including storm drainage pumping stations and underground utility networks all in accordance with the requirements of local state and federal governing authorities having jurisdiction over the work.

On February 28, 2011, GEC acquired the assets of Krebs-LaSalle. This move allowed Mr. LaSalle to now focus on client relations, business development, corporate strategy, visioning, culture integration and community activities.

Mr. LaSalle’s business acumen, which includes technical, administrative and financial talents, have enabled him to conceptualize and to execute business strategies, coupled with his proficiency in visioning and business development, comprise a successful text book executive. His business insight and professional integrity justify the high regard which he has earned from business and community leaders.

He has accumulated over 40 years of volunteer services through various organizations including the Business Councils, Foundation Boards, Chambers of Commerce, First Responder Associates, and many more business and civic organizations.

Mr. LaSalle is Past President of a local Chamber of Commerce and Business Council. He is a former volunteer firefighter and is the Commander of the Mandeville Police Reserve Division and has received various awards including a Police Department Reserve Officer of the Year Award; the Boy Scouts of America Silver Beaver Award; a Citizen of the Year Award; and the United States Presidential Volunteer Service Award from President George Bush.
